Smarthotel Oslo

Excellent hotel, with central location. Great breakfast. Rooms are small, but per the area in property description. Amazingly helpful staff Ms. Tuva at Front desk. I forgot my phone in a taxi while getting out at the hotel at night. Ms. Tuva immediately called the largest taxi company in Oslo - Oslo Taxi. She took the time and explained the situation - including Taxi drop-off location, pickup location, Fare, drop-off time, taxi description, phone model, phone type, traveller description. Oslo Taxi said it was not their taxi. But, they, Oslo Taxi informed other taxi companies. Early next morning, The taxi driver Mr. Zansheer found my phone under the seat and drove back there, returned my phone to the hotel. Norwegian hospitality and honesty demonstrated at its best. Truly Norway is an Amazing country, with citizens like Ms. Tuva and Mr. Zansheer.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The location was fabulous, super close to most attractions and to the downtown core but not in the heart of the super busy tourist area so it was a perfect combo! The staff were some of the friendliest I have ever met: Hedda and Bethel at reception and Carol at the buffet area were amazing, friendly, professional and made it feel like a cozy/welcome space. The breakfast was amazing! the buffet had something for everyone and had excellent quality food ; it was truly memorable! I also really appreciate the high commmitment to sustainability that I noticed ; from signs and stickers giving guests tips on how to be sustainable , recycling bins available and visible to only making the rooms when we needed/asked for it to using the app Too Good To Go to reduce food waste; I really commend the hotel for striving to be a leader in the hospitality industry for sustainable practices!

Conveniently located, no fuss hotel with kind staff and decent breakfast. The bathroom is nice and big, barely smaller than the room itself. Comfortable lobby.

Excellent location. Super easy walk from train station which also made easy to take AirPort Express train. Walking distance to most things. Liked the price! Stylish. Delicious breakfast buffet that can be added. Fun community hang out area with shuffle board. Room was small as described/expected but everything I needed.

Breakfast provided by hotel were amazing! We were very lucky and were just in time for a deal (breakfast for 99 NOK per person), so knowing how expensive is food in Norway, breakfast was amazing price - performance. Also location - superb. Everything is close and everything is walking distance away. + points for super super comfortable bed. Room was clean. Loved that I can turn on the room warmer, since the nights were a bit chilly. Black out curtains were amazing, not a single ray of sunshine got thru them.
